  15. Some freeware didn't make it into our distribution for various reasons:
  16. <ul>
  17. <li> U.S. law prohibits us from exporting some freeware
  18. <li> Some freeware owners prefer to distribute it themselves
  19. <li> Our contributing volunteers have limited resources
  20. </ul>
  21. For your convenience, here are some pointers to some frequently
  22. requested SGI Freeware that is <b>not included</b> in the SGI Freeware
  23. distribution.
  24. You may also want to check <i>Bill Henderson's</i> comprehensive
  25. SGI software
  26. <a href="http://www.hendersonzone.net/bill/sgi/">anon ftp list</a>
  27. for further pointers.  Besides sites with selected packages there
  28. are some other collections available, such as 
  29. <a href="http://www.thewrittenword.com/">The Written Word</a>.
